How to fix all windows 10 Folder permissions tutorial

How to fix all your Windows 10 folders permissions at once?

We all had the problems of not getting the right permissions for folders in Windows 10.
We can fix individual files but when you end up with hundreds or permission errors, well, there is only one way around and this is reset the whole installation!

IMPORTANT!
In order to do this you will first need to take a full backup of your current windows 10 state, you can use a free tool like the FREE EaseTodoBackup
http://www.todo-backup.com/products/home/free-backup-software.htm

Save your whole computer image to an external drive.

Now download this Microsoft tool:
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=23510#AffinityDownloads

Install it and Select C:\Windows\System32 as the destination folder

Copy all the below reset code and paste it in a notepad:

subinacl /subkeyreg HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE /grant=administrators=f
subinacl /subkeyreg HKEY_CURRENT_USER /grant=administrators=f
subinacl /subkeyreg HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT /grant=administrators=f
subinacl /subdirectories %SystemDrive% /grant=administrators=f
subinacl /subkeyreg HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE /grant=system=f
subinacl /subkeyreg HKEY_CURRENT_USER /grant=system=f
subinacl /subkeyreg HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT /grant=system=f
subinacl /subdirectories %SystemDrive% /grant=system=f

Save this file as:
RESET.cmd

Now that you have your reset file ready, double click on it.

Keep your windows installation backup for quite some time to make sure that you can reverse the problem in case this fix does not work well for you.
